Freelancer Cheat Detection (FLCD) by Niwo

FLCD is a system which prevents all forms of cheating and modifying, whether they are known or not. The concept is not to search for special predetermined cheats (which would thus allow cheaters to develop workarounds), but to take out every possible modification instead. It consists of two primary parts: FLCD-Client hashes the whole FREELANCER directory and generates a CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Code) which is compared with the FLCD-server running alongside FLServer.exe. If you have any file decrypted (with BINI for example) or changed in any way from the original Freelancer Installation file, the FLCD system will instantly kick you from the server.

The client is not Multiserver right now and only works with K-Play.de >Hamburg City< Server, but the next major goal is to bring a manual Server Selection to the Client. Then the System is ready for use on every Server (they plan this feature for Version 1.0).
